STEM Fair: Day 1 (of 8)

We want to know about the chemistry of baking.  Specifically, we're curious about the changes that can be made within a recipe and what the impact of those changes might be.

We've brainstormed about our favorite baked goods, and established that there are many variations with a larger theme (i.e. lots of different kinds of cookies, or different kinds of cakes, etc.).  Now we need to do some research to establish what the basic components of successful baking are, and what all of those chemicals, usually called "ingredients" in baking, are actually doing to create our yummy treats.

Each group will start with either an article or video to watch and take notes on; your notes should be in the form of single short sentences or bullet points that summarize a single main point.  You might have multiple notes from a single resource.  Make sure you remember which notes come from which resource!  After your group finishes with the first resource they're assigned, they can move on to the next numerical resource.
